![]() Not only has Guarna appeared on albums by musicians like keyboardist George Colligan ( Jack DeJohnette, Don Byron, Ravi Coltrane) and Vincent Gardner ( Wynton Marsalis, Lizz Wright, Nicholas Payton) he also employed a group of similarly in-demand but still lesser-knowns on Rush. But as much as his work with bigger names has helped his profile, it's been Guarna's recorded work with other artistssimilarly under-appreciated from a popular perspective but whose value is made similarly clear through the high profile company they keepthat has continued to fill in even more of the blanks. Guarna's work with White is still just one aspect of a guitarist's who has performed with higher profile artists like Corea, Wallace Roney, Stanley Clarke, Randy Brecker and Dr. The Wishing Stones opens that window even further. His first release as a leader for the Brooklyn Jazz Underground label, 2014's Rush, provided the largest window yet into Guarna's chameleon-like ability to adapt to any context, all while never losing sight of his own inimitable musical personality. Still, as fine as those recordings are, they reveal but a portion of what this keenly talented guitarist is about, especially since he began touring North America and Europe with his own bands a few years back, on the heels of playing on Lenny White's groove-laden Anomaly (Abstract Logix, 2010) and hitting the road with the fusion drummer's band, including a scorching New Universe Music Festival set that same year. His first five albums as a leader for the Danish Steeplechase imprint weredespite plenty of original material to balance out the jazz and Great American Songbook standardslargely mainstream dates, ranging from organ trios and Latin-tinged quartet outings to more freewheeling and revelatory sessions. Even for those in the know, it's not easy to figure out Tom Guarna's full breadth. Even in North America, given the vast distances that have become increasingly untenable with transportation costs, only those on one coast or the other, for example, might get the chance to catch a particular lineup and repertoire. And even those tours, for those fortunate enough to experience them, are often limited-run engagementsperhaps a few weeks in Europe here, a short tour of Japan there. Recordings only tell part of the story, since artists often tour with groups that are never documented. The two just comfort each other and the two twins separated and went back to sleep in there rooms.An unfortunate reality for too many musicianseven those who are well-knownis that most of their audiences are aware of but a portion of their true work.their fullest capabilities. Then everything went to black and then the next thing to happen was the young girl jumping up in her bed in complete terror due to her nightmare. Jake's wounds healed but then he watch as his arms and the rest of his body started to turn into dust just like Peter in Avengers infinity wars. That's when the Pink aura finally hit him. As he was thrown by the train, Jake believe that his life is over. While he was checking behind him to see where the aura is, he failed to notices that he was going over the tracks and a train came. He was trying to out bike this pink aura. This didn't matter as the Pink aura grew from his house and went every which way. Jake ran down stairs and got onto his bike and bolted. He watch as everything that went into the Pink aura was transform. She yelled out "I WISH THAT MY BROTHER WAS NEVER BORN AND WISH THAT I HAD A TWIN SISTER!" After she said this the stone melted away and a pink aura started to emerge and expand. ![]() As Jake crouch on the floor in a dizzy like state his Sister grab the stone and made one final wish. Before he could do anything his sister threw her princess carriage at his head. It wasn't till Jake manage to make her step on some Legos and she fell back in pain Jake use the stone to make him return to normal. They made wishes left and right trying to counter act one another. The now equally size siblings fought over the stone. Jake then saw the wishing stone in her hand. Jake ran other to his younger sisters room but as he open the door he was greeted by his sister who now was the same size. As he walk out of his room he notices something different about the pictures on the wall and then he see's his little sister giggling while peering out of her room. Jake still haven't realize what had happen to him yet. Jake felt like everything seems bigger now. Jake notices something weird about the tops of his room. Jake woke up the next morning feel weird.
